How to Write a Personal Statement

In a one page essay form you will need to type the following:

Who you are and what struggles or obstacles you have overcome to get to where you are
What your educational background is and brag about all volunteer work you have ever done
What your plans are for the future (Dream Big)
How you plan to reach those goals
Why you are the most deserving person for this scholarship
Thank the scholarship committee sincerely for their time

Guidelines for a Recommendation Letter

A recommendation letter should consist of

being written by someone who knows you well and they should include how long they have known you
what kind of person you are
why they think you deserve this scholarship.
